That is right! We are making a major upgrade to ReportWiz which will see a bunch of upgrades and fixes while giving you a familiar feel to MyJSIS. We have been working on the upgrade for the last 3 years and we decided to build the new system from the ground up. This gave us the benefit of using a new platform that offered us better scaling capabilities, testing and faster turnaround time on new features.
We have completely redesigned our reporting system to provide more meaningful insights. Teachers can now generate customized reports that show student progress across multiple dimensions including academic performance, attendance, and behavioral metrics. These detailed reports help identify areas where students may need additional support while celebrating their achievements.
Report cards can now be customized to match your institution's theme and visual design. This mainly affects the layout of the card and the information that is shown. Administrators can now edit report cards separately for different reporting periods and grade levels. Schools can configure grading scales, comment sections, digital signatures, and other layout elements, allowing for a more personalized and professional presentation of student performance.
This feature allows staff members to see all the data that affects a report card, providing a detailed breakdown of the components used to generate it. This transparency makes it much easier to identify and correct mistakes, while also giving teachers more context when entering grades, comments, and attendance. Validation checks also help catch common errors before submission.
With Subject Selection at Grade Level, staff can now only choose from subjects that have been assigned to specific grade levels when entering assessments. This targeted filtering ensures that teachers only see relevant subjects for their grade levels, streamlining the assessment entry process and reducing errors. Administrators can easily configure which subjects appear for each grade level, adapting to curriculum changes as needed.
We've extended session times, so you don't get logged out while working on important reports. This enhancement is particularly helpful during lengthy grading sessions, providing a smoother and more productive experience.
Dark mode is now available across the entire ReportWiz platform, reducing eye strain during late-night work sessions. Users can easily toggle between light and dark themes from any page they are on.
Teachers can now save time by duplicating existing assessments instead of creating them from scratch. The duplicated assessment can then be modified as needed, making it perfect for creating similar tests across different classes or adapting previous assessments for new student groups. This functionality streamlines the assessment creation process and maintains consistency in evaluation methods.
